The Heron Cycling Cap

L'Alpe d'Huez is one of cycling's most famous climbs. A challenge it is; 21 bends, 13.8 kms. In the 1952 Tour de France, l'Alpe made it's first appearance. Il Campionissimo, Fausto Coppi easily won the 266 km stage ... the Heron soars!
