Enjoy many miles with your L'enfer du Nord... Thanks Tom!

We would like to thank all of our customers who have purchased our popular L'enfer du Nord winter caps. Today's review from Tom gave us an extra smile. With the ever changing weather, here in the west coast, always dictate an adaptable cap. Our L'enfer du Nord fits the bill. Spring is still a bit cool here, and I find myself wearing my L'enfer du Nord knowing full well it will keep me stylishly warm.

It's a 'helluva' cap.

We are pleasantly surprised the first batch of custom Lone Wolf Cycling winter caps sold out so quickly. Tim and Jason quickly contacted us and placed a second order. So, we ramped up production and finished it in ten days. The 100% Italian wool winter caps are now available from their website.

The custom caps are gaining in popularity, here's a testimonial from Tim...

This came from a friend and customer who lives in New Hampshire...

Dude. I have done my fair share of winter riding in some very extreme weather conditions over the years. Your LWC winter cap is the best!

Thank you.

Recently we were contacted by cycling adventurist, Knut Kitching to sponsor cycling caps for his upcoming ride in the Chilcotin region. It's a rugged mountainous area north of Vancouver, superb for the two-wheel mountain biking folks. We are proud of our handmade caps and it just felt right to sponsor two winter caps for their mini adventure. We would like to thank Knut and Skyler for their generous review of our L'enfer du Nord and Black Sheep wool winter caps... and for giving the caps a positive spin in the Chilcotins!

Embracing Cycling Couture

The simple tailor shears are one of the fundamental tools in our studio. Today, we acquired a pair from our supplier because sometimes they have to be replace. They wear out, get bent out of true and have to be retire. I would say that they are one of the unsung heroes in our creative studio.

I want to thank Chris for his review of the Paris-Roubaix cap. Our handmade caps are exactly like a 'custom tailored suit'. Every cap is designed and made by us in our Vancouver studio. We are strongly guided by high craftsmanship, innovative design and the love for cycling. Passionately preserving and promoting the classic cycling cap to it's rightful place is our mantra. We believe in cycling couture.

TGIF: Making The Better Cycling Cap & Thanks Jordan!

Paris-Roubaix Cycling Cap
photo Red Dots Cycling

TGIF opens with a wonderful post from Jordan of irideroad.blogspot.co.uk

Jordan recently received the Paris-Roubaix cap, for a birthday gift, and what caught my eye was his impeccable review of our handmade cycling cap...

'Among the presents was a cycling cap. A very nice cycling cap. A cycling cap to make all others look obsolete.'

Furthermore, he described our Release the Hounds-tooth Winter Cap...

'looks well made with quality and overall finish as a main priority. Take into consideration that a big brand such as Castelli or Rapha would charge a lot more than £31.90 for a winter cap the Release the Hounds-tooth Winter Cap is a bargain.'

Since day one, Carolle and I set out to make the finest handmade products that everyone, cyclists and non-cycylists, can appreciate and enjoy. To be compared to the big brands is  both a compliment and also fuels our passion to produce the finest handmade cycling caps. This year, our custom cap market has grown and so has the learning curve of creating challenging and fun designs for cycling teams/clubs worldwide. We're constantly learning how to make the best made and comfortable wearing cycling caps ...because we wear them everyday on the bike too. Cycling is in our blood and without our cycling customers we could not grow.

Thanks Jordan and Ride-on with the Paris-Roubaix!

We are pleasantly surprise to discover that we had a huge spike of folks looking into our shop during November.

In fact, our popular L'Enfer du Nord wool winter cycling cap literally flew off our shelves. Since then, we are hurrying to re-stock those shelves.

So, it's even nicer when folks write about us without letting us know. Thanks to this article, 'The Procrastinator's Guide to Winter Bicycle Commuting'....
