When we started Red Dots Cycling we set out to make the urban cap: well made, not too racy looking, great looking on and off the bike and we believe what everyone likes - a classic all black cap. We experimented with many types of fabric that were either too heavy or it just didn't work. Then we discovered  linen/cotton. The perfect fabric for our caps: light, superior wicking properties, and super comfy. We set out to make a 4-panel cap including a central stripe made from the same linen/cotton fabric importantly for structure, re-introducing our Cappello da Ciclismo Nero.

The Cappello Nero has become our true classic cap. It is our most popular, best selling cap and very loved. One anguished rider lost his beloved Cappello Nero never to find it again. He was delighted to buy another to replace it.
