A fun Friday it is...


Carolle and I made a special delivery of custom caps for Bicycle Craft Brewery. We had the opportunity to meet Laura and her crew and, of course, enjoy a flight. Amazing beer but if I had a choice, my favorite is their Velocipede India Pale Ale. In fact, we got a growler of beer -  but more on that later, check back soon on my cyclingart blog. According to every supplier we talked to, these two fabrics are no longer available. Montreal is the type of city if you look hard enough you'll most likely find what you are looking for. Yesterday's work/birthday trip to Montreal was fun. We checked out the St. Hubert area well known for it's quirky, funky and well stocked fabric and notions shops. The variety is vast and we only touched the tip of the iceberg, more trips are planned.

Here’s an update of our adventure…

We’ve moved the shop 4600 kms east. Leaving the scenic beauty and our friends of Vancouver was a hard choice. For us to grow the business we needed to have space  and we wanted to embrace a simpler lifestyle… and the Ottawa Valley seems to be the ideal choice. It has beautiful nature, plenty of space, quaint little towns smack in the middle to our suppliers in Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal.

 It was an eventful move but we are happy to announce… our shop is up and running.
